A traditionally run gym for sports people by sports people. The equipment used is not the latest fads or fancy gadgets often seen and used in the string of fashionable gym chains but tried and tested apparatus which will assist you to achieve optimum results, supported by traditional Physical Training Instruction.
We promote actually running outside, instead of using treadmills so why not join us on the dreaded log run or circuit run. We promote various body weight exercises including the use of kettle-bells and free weights instead of restrictive machines which only target specific muscle groups and do not promote core strength and stability.
We do not have a dress code or insist on sweat towels, or though you may need one.
We do have a probationary period for all new members enabling us to choose the right clients and potential gym users. This does not mean we are looking for elite fitness members and don’t mind if you are currently a coach potato as long as you have the drive to achieve results. We promote a drug free environment and seek advice from sport England as to the safe use of supplements.
As long as you demonstrate the drive and enthusiasm to naturally improve your fitness goals in a friendly encouraging family friendly environment come down and enjoy the fun. We cater for all from Tots fun to the golden oldies and plan to introduce disability sport sessions once a week.
The Physical Training Instructors, Coaches and trainers all have a sport, activity, gym and educational background and play a variety of sports, so if you are committed to improving your personal fitness, or to assist you personal development to maximise your potential in your sporting arena, or you want to become leaner, stronger and fitter and want to train come and try us out.
Our Level 3 PTI's are currently undertaking the Cross Fit qualifications so we can deliver the
only Cross fit gym locally.
